Hello Everyone!!

I'm so happy to announce that the shipment showed up to my house on Friday! I work full time on weekends so I wasn't able to sit and make the official announcement, but if you're on any of my social medias you would've seen some sneak peeks over the weekend! 

They arrived right when I clocked in at my day job so my friend was nice enough to go to my house and put all the boxes inside for me to make sure nothing would get damaged sitting on my porch.

So what's next?

I'm going to begin quality checking all the bags, inserts, and wallets to make sure they are perfect for their new homes with you guys! I'm not sure how long this process will take to be honest- but I do have a couple friends who are going to come help me with the quality checking this week :) We have around 200 wallets, 500 inserts, and 700 bags to quality check, so this will take some time. I'm planning to upload content regarding the bags, quality checking, and fulfillment on my instagram and tiktok as time allows also! Which brings us to the next point...

Fulfillment

If you got a bag or wallet in your order, your address is still able to be changed via backerkit. I will be locking addresses on June 1st. If you have moved since backing the campaign, you will need to update your address on backerkit BEFORE JUNE 1st. If your package gets sent to the address attached to your backerkit, but that is not your current address, there will not be much I can do to fix the situation. PLEASE make sure your address is updated & correct on backerkit before June 1st. Thank you!

Altogether, there is around 1400 items that I have to quality check, and then a total of around 300 packages I have to ship. Please be patient as I will be doing this mostly by myself. I do have a couple friends who have offered to help (who I will definitely be taking up on those offers haha!) but I don't want to promise any specific deadline as I do still have a dayjob, as well as am running 3 small businesses by myself. However, these bags will be the top of my priority list for (at the very least,) the next month! :D

That being said - I will not be home from July 5th - August 5th, so I am definitely hoping to have all of the Kickstarter packages shipped by July 4th! 

I know that there has been many delays with this (and all itabag projects,  to be honest), and no one could've forseen the effects Covid would be having on us over a year after we went into lockdown, so I just want to let you all know that I appreciate you so so much for being patient with our bags! They look amazing in person and I am so so so excited to get them shipped off to their forever homes!!

Manufacturing is DONE! (Photos Included!)

Hi everyone! Bags have officially finished production and are on their way to me! Assuming that nothing happens to obstruct the path (like a boat stuck in a canal or something, haha) they should be arriving to me around May 8th! 

I'm unsure how long quality checking & packing will take, but I'll definitely keep you all updated! 

Rewards without Bags & Wallets

Hi friends! I mentioned in a previous update that rewards without bags and wallets were in the process of being shipped! Some of these orders had keychains which I didn't have in hand at the time (my bad for printing them too early!) I'll be going thru and finishing up fulfilling those rewards  today & tomorrow, so all orders that do not include bags or wallets should be shipped by this weekend! Thanks so much!!

Also, if you haven't seen, my second itabag Kickstarter is currently live at the moment! It is for giant backpacks. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could check it out & share it! We're 69% funded over there at the moment <3

March Production Update! {ADDRESS CHANGES}

Hi friends! 

The manufacturer is officially reopened now after closing for around a month for Chinese New Year! My manu sent me photos of the fabric for the bags being cut, sewn, & embossed! 

My manufacturer has informed me that she expects sewing to be done by the beginning of April! Which means we are on track for me to receive the bags in May as previously expected (given the delays we've had). 

Almost all orders that did not include a wallet or a bag have been shipped! I do have a couple I'm still working on but some of you should've received your rewards already! 

As I stated in a prior update- my next Kickstarter is launching this monday, March 15th! I did a lot of back and forth with fellow colleagues about how best to proceed (again, given the delays we've had) and ultimately have decided to push back this upcoming Kickstarter by 2 weeks. If I had pushed it back any further than that then it would've pushed back all of my releases and upcoming Kickstarters for the next 2 years. 

I am confident that with myself & my two helpers we should be able to fulfill orders from this Kickstarter in a reasonable timeframe once I receive the bags and quality check them all! Everything else for the Kickstarter is already in hand and ready to be shipped! :) This being said, AS OF NOW, IF NO FURTHER DELAYS COME UP AND THESE BAGS DO ARRIVE TO ME IN MAY; I foresee most of, if not all of, the rewards from the Coffee Cup Ita Bag Kickstarter to be shipped by July 2021.

Hello :) You are able to log into your backerkit account and change/update you address up until I lock the backerkit survey addresses. I will be posting here & in the facebook group when I do so, and you will also get an email notice from backerkit 24 hours before addresses become locked. PLEASE REMEMBER; if I send your package to the address listed, but that was not the correct address for you, it will be your responsibility to either arrange to go pick up the package if possible, repay shipping in full if it gets sent back to me, or in the worst case, purchase a new package completely.

Hello all! In my last update I mentioned I was going to begin shipping out rewards that were just pins as that was all I had in hand at the time. Today however, I did recieve our keychains! Check out this quick little tiktok I made featuring these designs. :)

Now that these keychains are in hand, I can ship out rewards that included these but don't have wallets or bags. At this time, wallets & bags are the only kickstarter items I do not have in hand yet.

My representative at the factory I'm using is really great and has kept in contact with me thruout all of the CNY holiday! The workers who are actually making the bags won't be back until Feburary 27th, and that's when I'll be told where our order is in the queue.

In my last update I mentioned the turtle pins had to be remade; they are now done and in hand so I will be grading & shipping those out this week as well! (Again; ONLY if your order didn't include a bag or wallet.)
